On December 6th of some year, Kris Moore was born in Wichita, Kansas to a very sweet Texas lady and to a United States Air Force bomber pilot from Chicago. So when we asked her how she ended up in radio broadcasting, she said “Well, it all started when a DJ asked Kris… have you ever thought about being in radio after winning music on a local radio station and that’s where job opportunity met career not only in radio but expanded to television. It seem to be a natural fit for Kris! She has worked all over Texas… specifically the Permian Basin including Big Spring and other parts like San Angelo.
Kris has won her fair share of awards from various readers polls like the Midland Reporter Telegram known as the “MRT” and in the Odessa Regional paper and recently in the Mic Madness as a semi-finalist beating all other radio and television anchors which is not easy to do when you consider that television has the picture advantage that radio doesn’t making Kris Moore even Moore interesting.
Kris loves her job!! The only thing she loves more are her three boys. Add to that her two kitty loves Cheddar and Swiss. Finally if you like The Walking Dead, Bruno Mars, Sushi, HIGH heel shoes and great music then Kris Moore is your best friend.
